1. Subject matter
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of SysRevAI (https://sysrevai.soportic.es), operated by Octavi Rodriguez (hereinafter, the operator). By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.
2. Account and acceptable use
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential.
- Each account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for all actions taken under your account.
- Any attempt to access other users' data, disrupt the service or bypass security controls is forbidden.
3. User content
References, screening decisions, comments and PDFs you upload remain yours. You grant the operator only the technical licences strictly required to store, process and display this content to the people authorised on each review. SysRevAI does not bypass publisher access controls: you are responsible for ensuring you hold the necessary rights to upload the PDFs you provide.
4. AI-based features
Some features (screening suggestions, summaries, per-article chat, copilot) send content to Anthropic's API (Claude). These features are optional and can be enabled or disabled from the administration. Final inclusion, exclusion and extraction decisions always rest with human reviewers.
5. Availability and support
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Maintenance windows, upgrades or causes outside the operator's control may interrupt the service. Support enquiries go to octavirodriguez@gencat.cat.
6. Intellectual property
The SysRevAI source code is distributed under an open-source licence. The brand, texts and graphic assets of this site are protected by applicable law. Use of the service does not grant you rights over the brand or over templates that are not explicitly licensed.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect damages, data loss or loss of profit arising from use of the service. Systematic reviewing is a support tool: methodological and scientific responsibility lies with reviewers and authors.
8. Accounts and termination
The operator may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, are misused or remain inactive for extended periods. You may request closure of your account at any time by writing to octavirodriguez@gencat.cat.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable in the jurisdiction where the operator has its principal place of residence or business. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes
The operator may update these terms. Any change will be announced through the service itself and reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
